The power of NO

Have you ever been in a situation where you want to say no, but end up saying yes?

We live in a society where being complacent and always saying “yes” makes you seem like a good person and know for a fact that you will always do what others want, yet when you say “no”, you seem like a bad person, maybe even rude or selfish because you are not meeting someone else’s needs. What I’m trying to say is, sometimes, saying no because YOU don’t want to do something or because it makes you feel uncomfortable can be the greatest decision you make! It’s OKAY to say no to things or situations that you don’t agree with. Does it make you a bad person or rude? Do you need to feel guilty about it? Heck no! Instead, it makes you someone that values the power of saying no.

Lately it has been pretty chilly in Orlando (and by chilly I mean low 50s and 60s). I’m a sucker for winter clothes, so whenever the temperature drops, I do not hesitate to take my winter clothes out of my closet for a fresh breath of air! I hope you’ve enjoyed this look and message ❤

Until the next post,

Gabriela
