Living in Orlando, the tourist capital full of theme parks & great hotels, sometimes us locals have to take advantage of these amazing places as well, am I right?
If you are into Retro Americana vibes, Loew’s Cabana Bay Resort is the perfect place for you.
Its location nestled with the rest of the Loews hotel chains (Portofino Bay, Royal Pacific and the new Volcano Bay), it is centrally located in between Universal Studios, the highway (I-4) and near shopping malls (The Mall at Millenia + the International Drive Premium Outlets are less than 10 minutes away!). When you drive by valet, there are cars from the 50s lined up that make the perfect background for a retro picture. Inside, there’s the swizzle bar that explodes with bright colors, think coral red chairs, marble tables + lime green couches (my colorful soul was EXPLODING!! 🌈♥️). I loved their colors so much, you can see how I matched my outfits here 💕 The pool area is surrounded by neon signs that separate the rooms, such as Starlight, Castaway and Thunderbird. If you’re looking for something fun to do, there’s a bowling alley with neon lights turned on at night and the arcade room right next to it (with a Fruit Ninja game? Count me in!). The hotel rooms are decorated with turquoise + orange pillows that complement the hotel’s retro vibes. The explosion of colors + the retro decor makes it one of my favorite places for #staycation.
What are some of yours?
