Have you checked your heart lately?
As someone that uses social media more than usual, it’s important to know where and when to draw the line on taking time off to enjoy moments or occupy your mind with something else you love. I used to start my mornings automatically scrolling through Instagram, checking out bloggers with perfectly curated images and sometimes even making me doubt myself as a blogger. When I noticed that that pattern was becoming toxic, I changed my ways. Now when I wake up, I start talking to God, mentioning all the things I’m grateful for, like being healthy and having my family (and healthy as well) to name a few. I know that many of us go down this social media path and it starts making us 1)feel insecure and 2)separating us from other hobbies or things that we truly love. So, I encourage you to check you heart from time to time and make a checklist of self-care.
